Wainwright, welcomed home to Skaneateles, N.Y., speaks. Part 6, Marine Col. Devereux detrains in Union Station, Washington, D.C., on his return from a Japanese prison camp. Part 7 shows Emperor Hirohito, Gen. MacArthur, Adm. Halsey riding a white horse through Tokyo, Premier Tojo in a hospital after an attempted suicide, and the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.
